Celebrations (INCOMPLETE)

This was....a lot. Obviously the Kha clan had their celebrations but considering how tight knit a community they were nothing felt anywhere near as big as this.

At the very least it was nice that it was an entirely casual affair and that they could escape to the Rising Stones where it was mostly the Scions and other people they knew. Miel could be sociable for a good amount of time when needed but this was much even for the superficially extroverted Raen.

Yet in here with her brother she was admittedly having fun. With so much happening it had been hard to find a time to really just settle down and truly reflect on the fact that they had done it---they had destroyed Ultima and driven back the Imperial forces from Eorzea.

Miel was still intensely unsure of how involved in this they should have gotten but...they did and they had done what few had ever been able to do.

There was some pride to take in that, and maybe, just maybe it could help some of the souls lost during the attack on the Waking Sands rest easier.

Right now she was winding her way through the crowd with some alarmingly large tankards of mead. She plopped down next to her brother and set one down next to him.

"Hey little man, thing you can handle a couple of drinks with me?" She joked.

Lavanda had been, for the large part, avoiding the festivities. Not necessarily because he was adverse to fun, but because he hadn't truly felt comfortable enough to do so until they had returned to the Rising Stones. He had just finished his tankard when another is placed down beside him, and he looks down to see Miel.

"I always have time for a drink with you, Miel."

She had been considering challenging him to a drinking competition but seeing as how he was already a tankard in seems like that idea wouldn't do, she refused to compete with an advantage. All well. Just drinking regularly with him with plenty fun too.

She shifted up to her feet again just for a moment so she could affectionately rub one of her horns against his before settling down again.

"How are you feeling? A lot, isn't it?" She inclined her head towards well....everything. Yet it was clear she wasn't just asking about the parties but everything else.

He never quite understood the need to rub their horns together the way she did, but he had never been one to deprive her of it. Muun had done it often with her. Maybe it was a girl thing?

"Tis a lot. Some days it feels like only yesterday I'd arrived fresh in Eorzea without so much as a gil to aid me." Some of the Scions knew how he felt, being lauded as this place's hero. It felt hollow, almost wrong, to do so when he was running from ...

But tonight was not for those thoughts. He takes the tankard Miel brought for him and downs a healthy draught of it.

"What's it been..two years? Well, more than that for you." Miel leaned back on her chair, then quickly forward when her horns knocked against the back of the chair. Even after all this time she still wasn't used to it. They really didn't make anything here with Au'ra in account, did they? Well, she supposed it made sense considering they were practically unheard of in Aldenard. Miel really hadn't realized how rare her kind apparently were.

So instead she just leaned forward on the table, propping her elbows upon it after taking a swig of her drink. At least the alcohol was good.

"Really doesn't feel like it at all. So much has happened." She looked out towards all the people gathered, eyes lingering on all the Scions...Tataru, Papalymo, Minfilia, Y'shtola, Alphinaud, Yda and Thancred.

"What do you want to do from here? Maybe take a visit to Camp Dragonhead, perhaps." She asked, voice teasing.
